Local Pediatrician Dr. Rene Bravo Endorses John Peschong for Supervisor
Templeton, CA — Today, small business owner and community leader, John Peschong has announced the endorsement of local pediatrician, Dr. Rene Bravo.
“San Luis Obispo County needs a leader like John Peschong,” stated Bravo. “John has cared about our community for years and has made public safety a priority. With the recent rise in gang activity, there is no one I trust more than John to bring solutions to the table and equip our law enforcement officers with the tools they need to keep our communities safe.”
Dr. Bravo is the owner of Bravo Pediatrics and has served San Luis Obispo County children for nearly 30 years. He attended medical school at UC San Francisco and interned in general pediatrics at Stanford University Medical Center, where he also completed his residency.
“Dr. Bravo is a respected leader in the community and I thank him for the trust he has placed in me,” stated Peschong. “Gangs are a serious issue. They pose a real threat to our neighborhoods, our kids, and our sense of security. As Supervisor, I will do everything in my power to fight back and restrict gang activity from threatening our way of life.”
The former President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association and the Lincoln Club of San Luis Obispo County, Peschong has dedicated a number of years throughout his career to leading organizations that educate taxpayers and advocate for fiscal responsibility in government. In addition to his focus on public safety, John will continue to champion the efficient use of public dollars while working to create a long-term plan for water storage and supply.
John Peschong is running for First District Supervisor, which includes the City of Paso Robles as well as the communities of San Miguel, Templeton, Heritage Ranch, Shandon, Oak Shores, and Adelaida. He lives in Templeton with his wife, Anna, and their two children.
