Templeton, CA— Small business owner and candidate for Supervisor, John Peschong has received the endorsement of Anthony Kalvans. Recently announcing that he would no longer be running as one of his opponents for County Supervisor due to family health issues, Kalvans, a Director for the San Miguel Community Services Board has decided to endorse Peschong.

When asked about his support, Kalvans said, “The North County consists of a number of unique communities, both urban and rural, and I was running to provide a voice for the rural communities which often times are overlooked. John is a proven leader for the region, and I’m supporting his candidacy because I know as our Supervisor, every resident – no matter the street, town or region, will have someone who is both willing to listen to their concerns and fight for their issues.”

A longtime community leader and board member or president to numerous nonprofits in the area, Peschong’s hard work has benefitted the area’s youth, taxpayers and families. He has offered both his time and guidance as either a member or supporter to organizations such as: the Templeton Education Foundation, Paso Robles Children Museum, Cattlemen’s Association, SLO County Farm Bureau, and the local 4-H. He is also the former President to the Central Coast Taxpayers Association and Lincoln Club of San Luis Obispo, and spent nearly a decade as a Gubernatorial appointee to the Mid-State Fair Board of Directors.

“I am honored to have Anthony’s endorsement,” said Peschong. “He is a hard-working, intelligent person, and I know that his influence in this community will continue to grow. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and I look forward to working with him in an effort to not only strengthen the North County, but also the region as a whole.”

In addition to his work in the community, Peschong is the co-owner and founder of a small business that provides nearly 50 jobs for residents both on the Central Coast and throughout the state. As a small business owner, he works with clients to develop policies that increase job opportunities through common-sense solutions.

John Peschong is running for First District Supervisor, which includes the City of Paso Robles as well as the communities of San Miguel, Templeton, Heritage Ranch, Shandon, Oak Shores, and Adelaida. He lives in Templeton with his wife, Anna, and their two children.
