Templeton, CA— Community leader and small business owner, John Peschong has received the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA).
Founded over thirty years ago to assist with the passing of Prop 13, HJTA’s dedication to protecting the proposition and advancing taxpayer rights has saved taxpayers an estimated $528 billion.
“John has been actively defending Prop 13 for many years,” stated HJTA President Jon Coupal. “On the board of supervisors he will continue to be a leader on behalf of all taxpayers.”
As the founder and former President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, Peschong has spent a significant amount of time working with, and fighting for, the taxpayers of San Luis Obispo County. Also a small business owner, he has spent nearly fifteen years partnering with various groups and organizations to advocate for policies that promote job creation and economic growth.
In addition to his work on fiscal and economic issues, John has offered both his time and guidance as a member or supporter of various local organizations, including: the Templeton Education Foundation, Paso Robles Children Museum, Art for Children, Cattlemen’s Association, SLO County Farm Bureau, and the local 4-H.
John Peschong is running for First District Supervisor, which includes the City of Paso Robles as well as the communities of San Miguel, Templeton, Heritage Ranch, Oak Shores, and Adelaida. He lives in Templeton with his wife, Anna, and their two children.
