I know, like you that there is no better place to live, work and raise a family than San Luis Obispo County. And like you, I know that our families are willing to go the extra mile.

Whether that is participating in school events, joining a local organization or helping our neighbors – we are committed to finding ways to strengthen our community and ensure the unique qualities that make it so special remain intact.

Over fifteen years ago, my wife and I decided to move to the Central Coast and for nearly as long, I’ve been working to protect taxpayers and small business owners, improve our local economy and ensure our children have both the education and opportunities needed for future success.

I share your priorities, vision for our region and passion for the rights that protect our way of life. As your Supervisor, I will always be accountable to you, because it’s not my level of dedication or principles that will change; it’s only my title.

Sincerely,
sig1
John Peschong

In 2017, we recognize the 76th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7. National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is observed across the nation this day in honor of all those who lost their lives serving this nation at Pearl Harbor. There were more than 3,500 Americans who lost their lives or were wounded on that solemn day.

Organizations across the country are honoring the memory of Pearl Harbor with tributes; survivors are sharing their stories and joining in reunions. Traditionally the Flag of the United States is flown at half-staff until sunset to honor those who lost their lives serving this nation at Pearl Harbor.

It was on August 23 of 1994 that United States Congress by Pub L 103-308, designated December 7, of each year, as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
